Bella came from an abusive, neglectful background. We gave her a loving home the last 4 years of her life. My first step at collage quilting using raw edge applique, machine quilted, thread painted. This project brought me closer to her in my grief since we just lost her. I will probably never enter this in a show because I'm too emotionally attached. I fear it getting lost in transit. This quilt brings me comfort.
