You thought it was hard picking out one coat to go with your outfit, try picking out over SIX HUNDRED. That's what Akiko Yoshimizu did for her quilt, "Be Fashionable on Rainy Days!", which features over six hundred individual people fashionably dressed to go out on rainy day, each with their umbrellas in hand. What's even more amazing is each person was created by hand, which makes sense as Akiko won First Place in the Hand Quilted Quilts category at AQS QuiltWeek - Paducah 2025 for her outstanding handwork.
