The reason for all the handwork in Batik Sunflowers, even though she owns three sewing machines, is Lynette just loves to work by hand, and the feeling of accomplishment she gets after completing something by hand she says is second-to-none. Batik Sunflowers design comes from a traditional pattern that Lynette found in a quilt book, and is made Modern through her use of batik fabrics.
