Cathy Perlmutter's "Batik Star" is one of her improv triangle quilts made with, what else, batiks!
Cathy feels her Batik Star has a different mood than her other improv triangle quilts because of the batiks, giving off a soft feeling. Cathy loves quilts that have uneven edges, so she gave her Batik Star a pillowcase finish to represent that look.
