Baltimore My Baltimore by Stephanie Strunge won Best Use of Color & Quilt Viewers Choice at the 2023 Maryland State Fair

Stephanie Strunge's quilt, Baltimore My Baltimore, may look familiar to some of you. It may be because you saw that it won both Best Use of Color and Quilt Viewers Choice at the 2023 Maryland State Fair. Or, it's because it is another award-winning quilt based on a TQS BOM. The BOM in question is Color My World by Wendy Williams, proving that this quilt won't stop winning awards for our members. What's special about Stephanie's version though is that she replaced the worldwide landmarks in the corners of the original, such as Big Ben and the Eiffel Tower, with icons from the city of Baltimore. These include The Domino Sugar Sign, Bromo Seltzer Tower, Shot Tower, and the National Aquarium. Congratulations Stephanie!
