Here's her Artist's Statement: "Awaken Spring began the same way they all do, "you can't make that." I needed to prove I could. I could make it better, stronger, faster. I designed and rearranged much of this quilt to make it as original as I could. I hope y'all enjoy my version of reveille for Spring."
