In Autumn in Sankyoson, Kyoko Oura depicts a scene that can be viewed from her room in Nanto, Toyama, Japan, rice plants, and dragonflies dancing in a peaceful autumn wind. She uses machine piecing, machine quilting, and machine applique. Also, look for her use of tulle in the quilt construction and big stitch in the borders.
