Arizona Roadrunner

Arizona Roadrunner

Arizona Roadrunner - This pattern was purchased at the Tucson Quilt Show by a friend. She made one then several more. I fell in love with it and knew it would fit into my home as an art quilt. I begged her to work with me on making one of my own. So I purchased a pattern, then we went to work. Cutting the myriads of tiny little feather pieces I thought would be a nightmare, but with the pattern instructions and my friends encouragement it was completed. There are a few beading embellishments that I added to this piece, as well as yarn embellishment around the eye area. It is a good feeling when your husband says " I like that one, should we hang it in the living room?". Accomplishment!
