"Architecture" by David Owen Hastings was inspired by his love of architectural design.
Architecture was inspired by, what else, architecture. To create it, David worked from a photo of architecture and really pared it down to the basic elements he saw in the image which he then transferred to fabric. Once finished, David added his magnificent line quilting on top of everything else to create an interesting and dynamic work.
