This quilt is made of "unventional" materials.
"Apples"
The yellow/green border was a heavy weight rippled fabric that I hand dyed. The purple background, vines, leaves and apples are made of used dryer sheets painted with acryllics and free motion quilted..The apples are stitched with several layers of thread and the vines and leaves were yarn couched over with thread. Metallic threads were used to accent the vines.
