Artist Statement: "This is a more contemporary style crazy quilt using a simple grid design. I pieced each block individually, wrapped the piece around a stiff Pellon interfacing, then machine sewed the letters. I quilted the background, then placed and glued the blocks to the background, along with using brads to attach them at the corners. I used a vinyl trim that I cut apart to cover the back of the brads on the backside."
Fun Fact: "I cut apart some of the flowers on the vinyl trim to use as part of the prairie point border."
