Artist Statement: "Alhambra, Spain. An original photograph printed on wholecloth printers cotton. Cotton batting and backing. Free motion "thread painted" with thousands of yards of thread in dozens of colors. Detailed with watercolor paints and fabric markers to enhance detail. My vision for Alhambra is for it to look like a framed picture rather than a contemporary art quilt."
