Old Church Doors - The archway was made in three pieces, the door was strip pieced from a fabulous batik, and the stones and steps are individual pieces fused on. The mortar was done with Tsukineko markers, and I used paints, inks and makeup for shading. Every piece is stitched down in some manner. Image copyright Michael Coddington, 2011.
