Artist Statement: "The theme is an advent calendar where you can enjoy opening a present every day during the countdown from December 1st to 24th. Suppressing the desire to open 24 days of gifts at once, one gift is opened each day. I created this quilt by filling boots and small boxes with exciting thoughts."
