"Adoration" by Emily Taylor was inspired by the Gustav Klimt painting "Mother and Child."
Emily Taylor wanted her quilt, Adoration, to portray the same feeling of the Klimt painting that inspired it. Displaying an affectionate scene of a mother embracing her child, the painting struck a chord with Emily as it is the same way she felt about being a mother herself. Beautiful in its collage landscape, you can really sense the warmth and love that is on display.
