Barbara E. Nagengast LiesThree years in the making, this quilt brings together a lifelong love of textiles and flowers. Every element, even the grasshopper, chipmunk, and butterflies, was developed from my own photographs. The flowers are all from my own gardens. All but the background trees, salvia, and fence is hand needle turned with no fusing and no painting. This quilt is dedicated to my mother, who taught me to be fearless with fabric, and for her love of flowers.
