A yummy quilt made from color-sorted scraps and left-over binding randomly pieced.
Random piecing is my Go-To relaxation. My friends bring me oodles of scraps, giving me a palatte of colors and patterns I might never have chosen myself. I sewed bits and dabs and strips from a given color family together till I had a pretty good chunk then squared it up with a 9 1/2" ruler. Sashing was made from left over binding strips. When put together, the quilt reminded me of the buckets of frosty flavors at the Ice Cream Store.
