24 Hours
24 Hours
"24 Hours" by Yoko Izumi won First Place - Large Quilts: 1st Entry in an AQS Paducah Quilt Contest at AQS Quiltweek 22.
Depicting a voyage around the world, and surrounded by what we believe are the gears of a clock, Yoko's 24 Hours could have multiple meanings. We like to think it represents a day in the life, a whole twenty-four hours, but can mean so much more in someone else's eye. Take a look and see what the quilt means to you. Regardless of your interpretation, we can all agree that it is simply a stunning work of imagination and creativity.
