"100 Astral Dreams" by Katie Fowler was created using a cut-up whole cloth painting that she had made.
100 Astral Dreams is one of Katie's earlier quilts where she made a whole cloth painting, cut the painting up, and put it back together to create a quilt. She decided that that process of creation was a really fun thing for her to do. It relieved her of the pressure of creating a really good painting, knowing that she could cut it up if she didn't like it and turn it into something else.
