When my husband and I returned from France, I had to start making samples for the National Quilt Museum and needed a new idea. I decided to make a baby pine cone quilt to fit a crib with Veronica Ann as my inspiration in January 2019. I took the start of the quilt to the Highlands County 2019 Quilt Show, the National Quilt Museum in Paducah for demonstrations and worked on it at home. I finished this baby quilt April 1, 2019.
