And it's a surprise to no one that the clamshell shape shows up once again in my work. With the clam shapes being formed organically, this quilt is a combination of bias tape Improv and Scrappy - two things that don't usually show up in my work. A combination of the background color and the random pops of color and print of the clamshells made for such a happy quilting experience. The Pharrell song \u003cstrong\u003eHappy\u003c\/strong\u003e was in heavy rotation on the radio while I was piecing it and it sorta became the unofficial theme song for the quilt.
