I chose a limited number of fabrics, but the star blocks could also be made scrappy. The piecing looks more challenging than it was. It did take some time to sew all of the star points and feathered units, which were made oversized and trimmed to perfection. The assembly is done in horizontal rows. The units measure 4 1\/2\" on the sides.
