It was the 2014 Vermont Quilt Festival, and unfortunately, Colette could not attend because she was, as she puts it, \u003cem\u003e\"raking the hay\"\u003c\/em\u003e. So a friend of hers took it to the show for her and called Colette when she was \u003cem\u003e\"raking\"\u003c\/em\u003e to tell her that she had won \u003cstrong\u003eFirst Place\u003c\/strong\u003e in the \u003cstrong\u003eDomestic Sewing Machine Quilting\u003c\/strong\u003e category.
