Displaying locations such as Paris, Germany, C\u003c\/span\u003ehambord Castle, Italy, and many of the other places that he's visited, the centerpieces actually use antique postcards from the 1800s to represent places that Brian had not traveled to yet when the quilt was made. He is proud to say that he has now visited all of the destinations featured on the quilt.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003eArtist Statement: \u003cem\u003e\"The inspiration for this quilt are the many travels I've had through my life starting at age 19 with a European trip and ending with going to Europe with my family for the first time at Thanksgiving two years ago.
