My main purpose in taking the class was to improve my piecing skills, especially points, and there are plenty of points in this pattern. At the time, I had no other reason for making a quilt so finishing it was never a priority.  I did send the top to an excellent longarmer, but I neglected to bind it until this year.  Now that it's complete, I love it!  I like the autumn colors that I chose, the pattern, and the size of the quilt, which is perfect for snuggling under while watching TV or reading. I even like the crinkly texture that came from washing it.
