I finally got the word when she and I were having a casual conversation 3 days prior to the event. I frantically racked my brain for some idea that would be quick and yet nice to present for a house warming gift. Thus the invention of my own pattern for the lighthouse placemats.\r\nI used fusible web for applique technique. Then machine quilted the design.
