This quilt was a gift to a friend, for her newly adopted baby girl; the basketweave background is symbolic of the birth mother and the adoptive mother, woven together through this precious little girl. The Lone Star was chosen because of ties to Texas, and the ribbon fabric and theme in the quilting symbolize the baby's name, Jubilee. This quilt was meant to scream \"celebration!\" as loud as the baby's name does; I think it worked!
