It is a combination of paper piecing and applique. The inspiration came from the Carpenters Wheel quilt. Size was limited to 16\" square. I wanted to do something that varied in some as well as color. To add interest, I made some squares and some circles. The size of this quilt was a challenge. I don't do small, respectably small pieced quilts. It took two shots to get it to look like I wanted it to.
