There are a lot of different techniques, piecing, hand and machine appliqué, painting, and collage. My family were railroaders and buried in the tracks there's a pocket watch, to represent the 4 railway watches I have from my brother, dad, grandfather and great grandfather. The boys jeans were purchased and the front cut off so they could be appliquéd onto the quilt.\u003cbr\u003eI quilted it using several colours on the front but either black or invisible thread in the bobbin, depending on which section I was working on.
