I used Batiks and Kaffe Fassett fabrics.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eWhen I first stared quilting in the 1970's I made a Cathedral Windows Pillow. At that time the background was muslin and the inset fabric was a mix of little calico prints. I still have that quilt and thought for years - a quilt was out of the question. I was awestruck when I saw a book by Lynn Edwards - the \"windows\" were not the same size and the colors were everywhere. Lynn uses the \"classic\" folding technique and gives a variety of variations to the sizes. I chose to work on a 3\" grid.
