As is my habit, I don't usually go about making a quilt for a specific person but rather make quilts as I like to, then as I go along a recipient comes to mind. This design and fabrics made me think of an Aunt, and so I made it just the way I had it on EQ at that time. For the first time, I used Beth Ferrier`s method of machine applique, using wash-away stabilizer that she recommends.
