The 9 blocks in this quilt feature 4 bouquet blocks, 4 blocks with birds and a center block with a birds nest. The border is based on an old french lapel pin. The Hummingbirds in the Wisteria, Robin in the Apple Tree and Chickadees in the Hebe appear every year in our garden. I used an antique Audubon Bird picture to capture the 1880 Baltimore Oriole in the Ginkgo (which is in the front of our home). The standing bouquets of Daffodils and tulips and presentation bouquets of peonies and calla lilies appear every spring.
