A show guest (can't find the number!)  showed how to use a yardstick compass for large squares and I also found Clover 5-in-1 gauge tool invaluable for 8\" squares.  I used the paperless paper piecing technique with freezer paper. The fabric is all Kaffe Fassett. I'm a long time fan of Freddy Moran so use black and white polka dots to break up sections.
