I was thrilled when Wendy Williams quilt was chosed for the BOM.  I supplement with the non-solid oakshot offered by The Quilt Show.  I gifted it to my lasted great niece Tessa. I very much enjoyed learning the freezer paper piecing technique and my first attempt at a flange border made by using fusible thread and topstitched with a decorative machine stitch using 35 weight bright green thread.  I followed the suggestion of ditch stitching for the majority of the quilt.
