On one of their day trips, they came upon an abandoned sugar mill factory, and because Ana loves abandoned buildings they stopped to take a few photos. Since they saw there was a piece of fence missing, they went in to take closer photos and discovered rusted pieces everywhere (rust is another thing that Ana loves).
